This is wrong in so many ways. You want to make a good game look like a not so good looking game. Not sure exactly what youre even asking. Does google not work for you? WHATS GOING ON HERE?!?!?!

Guys, you don't have to act like outcast Ashlanders! :)
OP, there's a nice thread with lots of links to other great mod lists:

I assume http://www.gamesas.com/user/710578-ireadam/ just wants improved textures and meshes, not necessarily Oblivion style ones. Try http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1319942-relz-morrowind-overhaul-sounds-graphics-20/, or (my preferred route) assemble your own overhaul starting with http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1305729-mod-recommendations-for-new-players/.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to improve the look of Morrowind, but it'll never look exactly like Oblivion because the modders here have a different style as does the game. Still, Pluto's mod recommendation thread is a good place to start when looking for graphical improvement mods. If you want one-stop downloading, grab MGSO (the overhaul Tronvillain) mentioned and install MGE XE (included with MGSO). It's very important to read the documentation that comes with MGSO or any mod because installation is a little different for Morrowind than it is for Oblivion. One big difference is that we don't have a Bash tag equivalent. We do have Wyre Mash for managing mods (the predecessor for Wrye Bash), but no BOSS. There is mlox which does something similar, but it uses its own rule base and not tags.

I second that, just great it can be, and lots of variation too, from vanilla true - to japanese comics

Considering the shadows Hrnchamd developed & how fluid they move compared to Skyrim....
I wonder what will be possible with an open source MW.

The best way is to go by the OpenMW site and see. So far, its been mostly me suggesting stuff to be added.(recently, anyway; further back there were a few other suggestions)
