transparency with nifscope?

how do u make your shirts transparenct with nifscope?? like see through??
i added like 7.0 to alpha in my shirts material but its not transparent in morrow wind.

1 thing my pc is windows 7,direct x 11 . not sure if this effects it since i think mw is supposed 2 run with win xp & direct x 9 ,right?

anyone know of any other tools where i can get my shirt transparent?

A mesh that needs to have transparency must have a NiAlphaProperty. Rightclick onto the piece of cloth you want to be seethrough and chose node->attach property->NiAlphaProperty. Don't try to achieve transparency through the materials. Except in very few cases it looks like crap. The better way is to make the texture have an alpha channel. There are dozens of tutorials on the net that show how to, it's not that difficult.

so what if wanted a glow effect too,would i need a node? or use the built in emissive bar??
