I need a mod to make enchanted items not glisten

Can anyone recommend one? Also, is there a soundtrack mod, one that maybe uses EverQuest, LOTR, or other similar soundtracks? Cheers.

There's lots of stuff for this. A google search would likely turn up something. I used to use this when I played a long time ago cause that stupid foil look has been annoying since the beginning of time in the Elder Scrolls world. I just use MGSO now which I believe has it built in. But there are several standalones too.

This looks to be new and high rated. http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=4034

As for soundtracks. It would be copyright infringement to re-distribute the soundtracks you mentioned. I'm sure there are tutorials for playing your own music in your own game, however.

Gluby lists a lot of http://www.mwmythicmods.com/Gluby/Gluby_MagicItemSpellFX_Mods.htm#SuranWrap, personally I use Tclord's New (Improved) Magic Shimmer Effect, the Low-Intensity Version.

As to soundtracks, check out PES' Music category. Zeno's Daggerfall music packs are great. As to soundtracks from other games you can search around and find some legitimate tracks you can use on some artist's websites and some game developer sites. I seem to remember Divine Divinity was one and Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura another.

+1 Pluginless No-Glow.

For use in your own game, nothing is stopping you from ripping an mp3 copy of any soundtrack you own. Just place the mp3s in the \morrowind\data files\music\explore or \battle folders depending on when you wish the track to occur. Put it in both if you want it to occur anytime. If you've downloaded music in mp3 format from a service those are readily usable - just place them in one of those folders and they'll play in-game.

Again, this is for your own use - you cannot redistribute copyrighted materials.

Although I've seen a lot of music packs released by some very talented musicians here on the forums, music mods tend not to make it onto any lists, unfortunatly. There are a few mentioned in the Sound and Voices section http://www.mwmythicmods.com/telesphoros.htm#17, although the list is older. Along with searching the music section of PES, a search for music releases here might turn up a few as well.

Oh, forgot about this:
http://www.yacoby.net/es/forum/12/6227301168988220.html, scroll down about two thirds of the page. TES Source has become TES Nexus so you may need to do some URL editinb / searching. But it looks like (for e.g.)
http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=4186
became
http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=4186

Thanks, Yacoby!
