landfall is when beth either stops making TES or goes bankrupt, as many good devs do.

The Dwemer are different for me. I feel like we mostly know about their disappearance; it's their daily life that is supposed to be incomprehensible. Akavir is special because it's whole thing is being unknown and mysterious, and knowing about it would ruin it. With the Landfall, I don't want to know because I want to have my mind completely blows if/when it does actually happen.
I wasn't not referring to the disappearance. It is what the Dwemer were and how they lived that should remain a mystery. How did they become so knowledgeable even as the other people around them were struggling to create civilized societies? What made them special. Was it being within the vicinity of Lorkhan's Heart? How did the Dwemer view the Daedra and Aedra. Clearly it was not as gods but as some other type of being. But what was that? How did their technology work? How does a Dwemer Centurion have unlimited access to steam and how can it exude such large quantities. How did Dwemer civilization differ from place to place? etc..etc. I think these should be mysteries the player gets to create solutions to. Maybe some day I want to get wowed by what they devs say about it but I feel like my imagination has always been stronger in these areas so creating my own solution within my own imagination is more fun for me. If I am given a tidbit of new information I can reevaluate all of it and make a new theory.

I too want to blown away by Landfall but idk if we are going to see that soon or not. Then again The devs broke away from the normal timeline with Skyrim fro a reason. Having 5-10 year gaps between games or so and then a 200 year gap is clearly a indication of wanting things to change imo.

Maybe landfall is when all the mortal souls recombine and the Aedra come back to life. I wonder if they'd do it again...

I still wonder what would happen if every mortal creature / lifeform were to die. Would Nirn turn into mars or would the souls recombine. Or would life just start congealing back into mundus
