Just how similar are the Ayleid and Dwemer languages?

For a mod I'm working on, I want to include this puzzle from http://www.imperial-library.info/content/elder-scrolls-riddles#arena:

From the beginning of eternity, To the end of time and space, To the beginning of every end, And the end of every place...

(the answer is "E")

Now, I figured I could use the Dwarven alphabet to display the puzzle (as it's in a Dwarven ruin), and have a character translate it for the player. The problem is, I want it to look authentic, but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of Dwarven words.

So if I were to just translate it into Ayleidoon, just how inaccurate would I be? I suppose I could dress it up to make it look "dwarfy", like with some Z's and I could remove some vowels, but I still want it to look more or less correct.

Very. Ayleid name: Vanua. Dwemer name: Arkngthunch-Sturdumz. Neither have much in common with Ehlnofex. What I'd do is make up words that look Dwemer based on our knowledge of Ehlnofex, Dunmeri, and Ayleid.

If I might make my own suggestion, you could take a card from Morrowind's "Hanging Gardens;" It's somewhat in the vein of what Lady N just suggested, but you could have the riddle rendered in two languages (something i'm doing with a pet project for Skyrim) where the reader can translate/discern one's meaning with effort, and the other, the dwemer version, is put through a cypher and/or altered aesthetically.

Just my two cents.

Hm. I like it. I could use Ayleidoon words in the Falmer alphabet, and a made-up Dwemeris version. I like it a lot.
