Well, I finally got the damn thing running, but I've got a problem. The mouse doesn't lock in, regardless of what I set in the options. Any help?

What Operating System are you using? I'm not sure if that matters with the DOSBox or not, though...

Complete edit: I got it working, turns out I have to alt-enter to get the mouse locked in. I still have trouble with the cutscenes though, same audio-skipping problem, just not in gameplay.

Have you also tried Ctrl-F10? Alt-enter goes to full screen.

Sometimes Ctrl-F10 doesn't work so you have to switch into full screen.

Well, I already got that working, but the audio-stuttering during movies is becoming annoying.

Open the config file and change the cycles to "cycles=auto limit 30000".

Once I exit the game, how do I get back to it? I don't have a shortcut on my desktop for it.

You'll have to re enter the DosBox commands again, or an easier way is to edit the DosBox config with the commands to run at startup. I find he best way to run Daggerfall is to make a shortcut for it on the desktop.

Where exactly is the config file? I'm using a third-party program for dosbox to simplify the process, and I've already set the cycles for 20,000.

You might try searching for dosbox.conf, but I'm not sure what your front end is using.

I've gotten over the skipping in the cutscenes, but I've got another problem. It seems her stupidness the queen of Daggerfall doesn't want to talk to me. I try clicking every part of her and from different distances and it doesn't work.

Hum I hope you're not trying to talk with the woman upstairs... she won't talk to you. Instead enter the room to the right.

Entering that gets the whole building trying to kill me. I'm now in Wayrest, and I'm having similar trouble.

I guess you're entering the wrong room.

The walkthrough isn't really helping me, I need to know how to get to where Princess Morgiah is, and that isn't in the walkthrough.

Hm I wonder why the walkthrough helped me in every aspect of the main quest? Princess Morgiah is in Wayrest. She's the girl dressed in red in the throne room.

Which I can't talk to. <_< I'm noticing a pattern of not being able to talk to important quest characters.

There is a min. level limit to starting some of the main quests.

Also, IIRC you may need the letter that she sent you in your inventory....

I am currently at level 4 and just started the quest, but I get killed very quickly in the quest dungeon.

Even though your at level 4. You don't need to start the quest yet. Join the fighters guild and the Mages guild and go up in rank at those. Wait to maybe level 13 to start the quests.
