Awesome news and great info. Can't wait to see the results against tests with ENB and MGE.

Tried it on mw, both the installer and offline version, they both seem to work (tried offline last), a lot of effects in mw for sure,so I guess it is working.

(Did had a clean copy of MW elsewhere but had forgot it had an old mge in the copy too, everything fine after I got mge removed,)
xp64 and I just needed to get git running, had the rest already.

The Morrowind results are by far the most interesting. I ran them twice, using a 120-second interval the second go, to verify the numbers and they checked out. I suspect the upgrade from D3D8 to 9 is involved in part, but I did not expect the findings. Whether this is good science or I screwed up somewhere, I'm not sure.
Now that is an interesting result. Assuming everything was the same for each test, I would have to agree here that it is likely the speed boost is coming from the upgrade. This alone makes this program more than worth it; you will have people lining up to download this if it makes most games of MW >35% faster.
I am sure this will be verified or no when people start testing it.

I declared yesterday muffin and benchmarking day. The muffins were delicious and the benchmarks promising.

I vote you release the muffins as a resource

The original MGE had a HUGE FPS hit from DX9 upgrade. This is madness! Please kick me down the pit if it's true!
