Bizzare ghost trees mod problem

I can't for my life figure out what mod is causing this. I have disabled MGE and I still get these ghost meshes that looks like the old version of Vurts Ashland trees, from the old overhaul. The REALLY big weird ones. This is my active mod list + BSA. I'm currently more or less doing a binary search... Yet I have huge problems imagining what mod is causing this. Please, if anyone can shed some light on this matter, it would be worth gold!? Or an extra fishystick!

It's not TEST.esp, and it should not be one of my mods. I will double check them however.

Lol. I just examined my own mods... Seems I tried to do something at one point and that caused all this...

A mod can close this thread now.

Sorry, didn't think the solution would be this close/simple.

Ghost meshes as in only visible in the distance? If so that does kind of imply the MGE's running, have you re-created distant land (and distant statics) since removing Vurt's Ashland Overhaul?

Maybe rename d3d8.dll to d3d8.BACKUP

I can't see anything in your mod list that would include those, and as far as I know Vurt's Overhaul is the only mod that does use them...
