Morrowind Music Choice

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 4:17 am

For me the right music plays a big role in makin the adventures in Morrowind more intense.
Thats why I wanted to share some of the music I collected to play along in Morrowind.

http://www.mediafire.com/?bdf0cczosef3npa (Containing 10 tracks)

These are all atmospheric, mysterious low tempo soundscapes.

More to come :)

Oh I know some of these. Thank you. But is it ok with copyright?

What's also great are the daggerfall music packs from pes.

I myself added some stuff from Burzum's Hlieskjálf:
This sounds pretty daggerfall-ish to me:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWgkMI4yhJI

and Wongraven -Fjelltronen:

Both quite simple music.

Oh my, those are nice. I don't listen to much instrumental stuff, but this is great game music. The first one that you said is Daggerfallish conjures up images in my mind of a serene snowscape, and you're just looking out over an empty stretch of land with a few dying trees. Sigh, Daggerfall. My first love.

Yeah I will, hopefully soon  Last days I was busy with installing all kinds of mods and finding the right stuff for a new Morrowind playthrough. Might need a better pc to run all these great eye candy mods

Hm I really like that second one: Der Tod Wuotans. I will definitely add that one to my game.

Wonderful stuff! Thanks for releasing this, music packs are always great and so many people find or create great pieces for the game, but never share them. I don't know if there's anyway to get your release added to http://www.yacoby.net/es/forum/12/6227301168988220.html, but it certainly deserves to be on it.

Kirlian, do you have a download for any of those songs? I agree with you, they are very Daggerfall-esque, and perfect for Morrowind. I'd love to get them into my game as well.

Hm...there are probably programs you can use to convert youtube files. Otherwise pm me.
@xSaiko: "Der Tod Wuotans" is kind of (old-)german for: "Odin's death".

Anyway. Several recompositions of Daggerfall tunes are here, in case you didn't know yet:http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=User.EntriesListing&id=65035

You don't need programs, there are online gizmos, so only program you need is internet :spotted owl:

While we're still on the legal side of the topic, I'm DLing and will check this as soon as it's done. Thanks xSaiko! :foodndrink:

Yes I know that ;) Im half german / half dutch

Most of the tracks included in my download are from this artist named Biosphere. For me these tracks add to the mysterious atmosphere of morrowind, might not be everyones taste dough.
