I'm working on a re-texture of the TEsla Armor.
I basically exported all meshes and TExtures and respected the specific paths when installing the Files to the Fallout3 Data Folder to load the mod.
So here's what I did:
1) I opened the Tesla_Armor.dds Files and changed it's color by Recolorizing it to a Blue color.
2) I saved the file... Now when I did that GImp messaged an error stating that the file looked like a Map Texture and so I couldn't be saved, but it still saved it.
And by the way I did the same in Skyrim for the monk Robe , gimp error messaged me and the robe works fine.
3) So once I saved my textures, I applied it to my mesh, saved the mesh, loaded it in GECK and saved my mod.
4) Now when I load the mod in-game, I added the Armor to my character, but when I equip it, the texture is all screwed up and it keep blinking and stuff....
It seems that something doesn't work with what i've done.... Anybody knows if I ommitted something or didi something wrong?
I just modified the main color texture and left the others unchanged on the Meshe.
