Recommended ini settings for Progress, nGCD, Enhanced Econom

Hello all! I have two questions: First, I'm setting up an FCOM install using Progress, Enhanced Economy, nGCD, and Supreme Magicka and am wondering what .ini settings would you guys recommend I use for those mods with FCOM? I'm using DLL Leveled Lists to setup my spawn settings and have it somewhere between vanilla and default FCOM so not quite as hard as FCOM.

Also, my other question is I have my mod setup done and seem to be getting a CTD as soon as I exit the starter dungeon (I'm using a quickstart mod for testing purposes. Here is my load order. All mods have been cleaned using TES4Edit unless told not to do so by BOSS. Also, I have run BOSS on this load order, my bashed patch is set up to FCOM thread specifications and I've run TES4LODGen as well.

Update: I disabled all my plugins and re-enabled them and re-built my bashed patch and oddly now it works fine, still wondering about .ini settings.

For Progress I would suggest something that gives you at least 5 times slower leveling than vanilla, in order to get full experience from the lower levels without passing them too fast, though you may want a tad faster until you reach level 5 or so, where you're not that weak anymore.

For Enhanced Economy, I would recommend the realism settings. FCOM adds a lot of magical loot, and OOO makes the value of enchanted items very high, and combined those two factors make you rich very fast, much faster than OOO's higher house prices can balance. WIth EE's realism settings, the enchanted items is worth less, and you'll find much less magical equipment - but those settings may be a bit harsh, it's all depending on how difficult you want the economic part to be. With the realism settings, you must really work hard to get enough money for a house.

A lot of effort went into the defaults for both Progress and nGCD. My personal recommendation is to enable all of the Progress optional mods (except Mercantile and MBSP if you're using the equivalent options in Enhanced Economy and Supreme Magicka), and use all the provided defaults with one exception: the defaults for Alchemy are a bit high, my working values are 2.62 / 1.62.

That'll give you a base 3x rate (same as OOO, the basis for FCOM), which due to the ProgressGSD module slows down as you level up; so as TNO suggested, you'll gain the first couple of levels more quickly. The actual skill increase rates are OOO's, except that the magic skills slightly revised to give some skill when you cast (even if you don't hit) and take into account the ProgressMBSP module. Alchemy is different from OOO, but I've actually convinced the OOO team to use my values for the next version because they encourage wortcraft in the early game.

nGCD, just leave it as-is. :)

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I definitely don't want to level too fast as my next playthrough (whenever I get around to it) will include Integration, Kragenir's Death Quest, The Ayleid Steps and Heart of the Dead (should give me plenty to do outside of vanilla content which I've already gone over 2-3 times except for DLC which I haven't done yet).

RE: Supreme Magicka - any ini settings you would recommend I set for FCOM?

I have a question regarding Progress. If I won't use Global Slowdown, my numbers of "skill uses" will not slow down at all? I mean they will not be more skill uses in, say, skill level 11 than in skill 10?

For each skill, there's a separate slow-down in the vanilla game (and Progress doesn't change that). Going from 10 -> 11 in a particular skill is easier than going 50 -> 51.

Global Slowdown makes it so that going 10 -> 50 in one skill also makes it harder to go 10 -> 11 in OTHER skills. It's a smaller effect, but spread out between all skills instead of local to each one.
