I hope this is the right forum but I was wondering if anyone knew any books similar to

I haven't read a book of my choosing for 5-6 years that I have actually enjoyed. I usually look at a book start reading and then begin to yawn and feel bored. I got both of these books when I pre-ordered Skyrim and I didn't touch them until recently. One day I just picked up the first book and started reading it, I then enjoyed it and felt connected to the characters and their adventure. I have now finished both books and I'm kind of sad that they're over and I want more. It's crazy because I'd never read unless it was during school. The last time I read a book that I enjoyed was Dark Hills Divide, but when I couldn't find the sequel in our library I asked and they said they'd order it and they never did. That was 6 years ago and it put me off reading.

Books I had to read for school were Hatchet (Gary Paulsen), Exodus (Julie Bertagna) and Virgil's Aeneid. Even though I had to read them I actually enjoyed them a lot.

I read that Codex Alera (fantasy series with 6 books) by Jim Butcher was similar but I've never heard of them since I don't read.

Like I said before I was wondering if anyone knew any books similar to Greg Keyes The Infernal City and Lord of Souls? Thanks.
