It's not so much the OGE I'm having a problem with but a seperate mod made to support it. The mod gave a different method of 'setting' shader selections and allowing for easy shader tweaking without COBL or the in-game menu.
If I recall the button was "-" on the keyboard but now I can't make it work. I also discovered that the PageDown key for selecting different slots for the OBGE mod still works, so it must remain installed.

Don't quite understand this, if anyone more educated could lend me a hand?
