As I play this, I keep thinking of that book, A Canticle for Leibowitz

Is it the landscape or the soundtrack or both? It's lonely and haunting out there. (Much like the Mojave in RL [except there usually isn't a soundtrack or mutated fauna])

Canticle for Liebowitz was a really interesting book. I can see why you might recall it, playing this game.

I also combined both your topics, as they are similar, just expressing some ideas/impressions that the game gives you.

New Vegas doesn't remind me of a Canticle for Liebowitz. Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics and New Vegas remind me of Canticle for Liebowitz. Things advancing to the point were nations form. Those nations go to war, and keep advancing, then one day the nukes fly again.

You said New Vegas doesn't remind you of it, then in the next sentence it does remind you of it? I smell a contradiction.

It ws my way of saying the series as a whole, not including Fallout 3, reminds me of the book.

It looked very confusing to me.
