Just trying to find out if the game works without a bunch of lag in populated areas or regular freezing. I love the game, and will buy it again if it works, but if it's anything like the original I'm not going to waste my money.

I played the original copy on ps3 and it was playable for the most part, until your save file gets too big, then its just annoying. Plus it was really laggy if you had all the DLCs installed. So I decided to pick up the ultimate edition on 360 instead, and its running a whole heck of a lot better with everything installed. Had one loading screen freeze in 12 hours of gameplay so far. And there was only one 10 second instance of lag. So this doesn't really answer your question about the ps3 version of the UE lol but I didn't trust it on there, so thats why I grabbed it for 360.

I haven't got the Ultimate edition but I downloaded all the DLC off the store and it usually runs perfectly fine apart from the odd freeze but nothing serious.
