I agree that the bos are too good at times but there not white knights.And as I stated only certain people get water from them.

The Brotherhood would have dropped everything at the smallest hint of the Enclave in DC. You know because the Enclave are there nemesis from Fallout 2. That and the Enclave have all kinds of goodies. The Brotherhood remained clueless about the Enclave despite the Eyebots flying around. And if they did know about the Enclave since day one of making it to DC. Then Lyons is massively incompetent, for ignoring the Enclave threat for so long and not telling the orginals about it. The Outcast wouldn't have split off from the Lyons if the BoS put their effort into hunting down the Enclave right away.

So the BoS in Fallout 3 aren't white knights because they kill ghouls? Killing a ghoul in the wasteland is like killing a radroach to most people in the wasteland. So in human terms, the Brotherhood in Fallout 3 are white knights. If they kill a ghoul now and then so what. The Enclave want to kill everyone not Enclave.

Again backstabing the Brotherhood is not the same as joining the Enclave. Even if you destroy the Enclave in Broken Steel, it doesn't really hurt the Brotherhood. They still win, cause the Enclave also get destroyed. Helping the Enclave by putting the FEV doesn't do a damn thing. So the Enclave's plan was crap. And you still have to svck up to the BoS to start Broken Steel.

The Pitt was a hellhole mostly made up of trogs and I'd imagine that its quite difficult to tell the difference between a ghoul and a feral with clothes on. They don't make people pay for water, Scribe Bigsley is even quite annoyed by this fact. Everything they do is for the benefit of the people of the wasteland and they do nothing that hurts it. They are stereotypical white knights.

I never said the Enclave were evil, but they have been reduced to two dimensional bad guys. This is not YouTube, there's no need to be rude.

I agree broken steel.was utter turd i'm not arguing that or anything about it .
And again news travels slowly in fallout .Theres eyebots flying around ok fine but they would only be able to identify it as enclave technology during edens message .And as far as i'm aware the they protect three dog because he is fighting the good fight wether they know.what it is another question as I doubt they listen to the radio often .

We honestly don't know how many have received water, we don't know how many people walk up to the memorial and ask for a bottle, we don't know whether or not the water caravans make stops at other settlements or hand out water to anyone they see and besides, the entire river has been purified. A random wastelander could dunk a bottle in there and it'd be safe to drink.

In game we do see the ferals wearing rags, but when a ghoul goes feral do you honestly think all of their clothes instantly disappear? We see in http://images.wikia.com/fallout/images/b/b3/Feral_trooper_ghoul.png in New Vegas that ferals can look very similar to their non-feral counterparts. Plus when you see a person who's skin has fallen off its safer to shoot then wait to see if it tries to bite you.

News cleary doesn't travel slowly in Fallout. Cass in point. Three Dog seems to know everything you are doing and reports it on the radio.

That is my point. Three Dog couldn't be fighting the good fight against Enclave propaganda because he doesn't know what the Enclave is, he just finds the Eyebots with Eden funny. The BoS aren't protecting his radio station in order to fight Enclave propaganda. Cause the Brotherhood doesn't know that the Enclave are in DC.

So simply put, the Brotherhood are protecting Three Dog, out of the Kindness of their Heart. Which makes them White Knight Goodie Goodies.

The Brotherhood were just completely cluesless about the Enclave in DC until the Enclave took Project Purity. They should have known about the Enclave because of the Eyebots, but that's just another plot hole in Fallout 3.
