So I've decided to call out my predictions of what might be in store in the next month or two. What lights might flicker on when things start rolling.
[*]Holland Tunnel this one came to mind because of the possibilities for TIA and possible vehicle combat that could be seen with CryNet Ops vehicles and local NYPD vehicles. Perhaps they could pull what Marko "Psycho" Filberich did with Frost and perhaps put a "CryNet" bomb in a real intense part of the map that could blow a section of the tunnel and drown all of the players by firing two JAWS at it. Or have it set to a specific kill requirement to be able to do it.
[*]Yankee Stadium: No steroids here just plan old Nanites. I imagine that we'll see this developed as a possible pro-map for snipers with the outside parking lot being a firefight with deploy-able cover.
[*]Bronx Zoo: Lions, Tigers, the..Nano-suits?...Oh My! Perhaps sectioned off areas or split maps. Perhaps will see some animals also (Possibly Turtles and their cousins from Crysis? Imagine coming to a section of the map and reading a plaque that says "The last species of the Lingshan Island turtles rescued a year before the Banana and Warhead Crysis")
[*]Federal Reserve: granted, Wall Street is covered, perhaps an expanded map going a little more in-depth. Perhaps in the tone that Die Hard 3 did, featuring the subway. Perhaps being able to kick gold containers and smashing a enemy to his death? Perhaps also big dump trucks that are drivable and have a crap ton of gold in them?
[*]Tactical map: Brooklyn Bridge: featuring an old ability from Crysis and Warhead Oh and Wars!: Climbing yes! Climbing up a ladder to the top of the bridge to get back into the fight!
Well this is just a small taste of what I've been pondering. Lets hear from you guys and lets see (and predict) what can be achieved with the CryEngine 3 within the coming months.
