Vice President William Slater?

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 3:35 pm

Hey i read on the wiki that aaron kimball has a vp named william slater who convinced him to bring the ranger vets from baja to the mojave. Since im an NCR fanatic i was wondering if this had a source because i love reading new info about the current politics of the NCR.

Actually the wiki says he was the vice president of Wendell Peterson and convinced him to send the NCR Veteran Rangers to Baja.

He was apparently very charismatic and started all of the NCR's interest in that region.

The other wiki (the one I trust more) says otherwise- http://www.falloutwiki.com/William_Slater

Interesting, unfortunately there is no source on either, I'm guessing your wiki is right though since this seems like new info on the other one.

I just trust the Vault more because they were the original wiki (they had a disagreement and went to another website with the Vault, the old website made a new wiki called Nukapedia).

There is no source for either.

Probably the first time the two have established pages that say two completely different things (it's going to happen more and more when new games come out).

The disagreement was nothing to do with Fallout, it was over Ausir and his employment with another company or something. But actually, the Fallout Wikia is older, and I trust it more as it's run by rather dedicated users, some of whom I see post here from time to time, and are quite unbiased in their ability to express information.

I know it wasn't about Fallout. I was just saying that there will be more inconsistancies like this when newer games come out.

A lot of people on both ends will just makes stuff up.

The wikia uses sources for most information, it's the 'Behind the Scenes' bits that can be questionable, but that's the truth for all Wikias.
