What is this weird sound at night...? : Fallout: New Vegas

So, is it real or not? Maybe it's in your head, after playing too much Fallout? :biggrin:

I also tried to listen at night, for a weird sound, but just got the usual ambient sounds and music. lol

Oh it is real... noticed it once after never tuning on the radio... matter of fact it might be a glitched gekko (apart from deadwind cavern there are no deatclaws in the cells I encounter it.
It is also rare... but I am certain it is not my imagination..

Sounds like the UFO approaching sound gone glitched or that silent desert/tumbleweed blowing sound.

The latter is like a long whistle.

Nope it really is howling.. like I explained... It sounds sort of like a slowed down version of the woo woo sound as seen in the Alien/Prometheus trailers.

Is it a continuous sound? There apparantly is a bug with ambient sounds for some people.

also Off Topic: Does anyone one know the name of the Music that plays at the fort (the one with the war drums)?
It also plays at Camp MC if you are vilified with the NCR.
