I want to begin by saying I used the search feature to see if there was already a topic on this. While there has been some mention, no specific topic regarding Dragon's Dogma seems to exist. Well, some might say 'because this is a skyrim MB.'

Anyway ... it is obvious the main competition for Skyrim is this upcoming game. How much of a competition it can really be, that's another matter. Skyrim is enormous ... no denying that. However, I've watched some gameplay videos for DD and it looks very promising. Some things that stood out to me:

- Danger ... things look hard, demon souls hard. This is an element Skyrim certainly is missing, especially late game.

- Distinct classes ... I can't tell a whole lot about this, but it seems that each class feels very distinct. I enjoy being a character who has a couple of specialties, so I'm not sure how this will play out.

- A wealth of skills ... there are some pretty cool looking and creative skills. Lightning whips, hurricane spells, and things beyond ice ball, fireball, lightning ball.

Well I don't really want to create a sprawling topic, I love playing skyrim, but I will definetly try DD because it seems to have alot of the things I like about skyrim plays things I wish it did have. I thought it may be interesting to discuss the two games ... certainly a change from glitch complaints or dlc speculation.
