We found a way to put the wonderful collection of resources we have to use in a new and creative way. Instead of getting the resources yourself, putting them in the Construction Set, setting all of the stats, placing the item in the world...blah, blah, blah...the Smithy does it for you!
Select the model that appeals to you, give it a name, choose a few other options, and when you are done it gives you a mod. This mod is yours, ready to be used. In fact, you can even choose to have the mod hosted here at MMH in our new http://mw.modhistory.com/download-111
Here's your chance to be a mod author!
Oh, and I've got literally dozens and dozens of more resources to add...many of which you have never before seen (*cough*Eldanorcara*cough*) that will be introduced to the Smithy. And as development on this continues, it will eventually support armor and clothing as well.
I have to say it....this is my personal favorite thing I've ever created for Morrowind. I think I've made some neat mods, I've enjoyed inventing and innovating every single one of them. But this tops them all in my book, and I'm still working on it!
So come on by and make some mods! Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Morrowind by dusting it off (although you should be ashamed if it's dusty
) and play with some new weapons. ESPECIALLY if you've always wanted to make your own, but haven't dared venture into the CS! This is a brand new way of making mods, come and join in!
