we all know how dissapointing the battle for bruma was but what if a really good writer was able to take the main quest for oblivion and make a book out of it. it would be the same story but who ever would write it would make it way better than in game. like say the battle for bruma part would have more than 10 people in it on each side. and it would just be a huge battle kinda some thing like a battle in the lord of the rings. it could be like 3 or 4 chapters long maybe even longer than that.
so every thing would still be the same but better. the book would start out in prison the guy in the cell across the hall way would still be saying those things to the main character ( but to not make people mad they would never say the main character name or race. so they would have to chang up what that guy says). but every thing else would be pretty much word for word but with some exception to make the dialog way better.
and then there could be anouther book with the same character going to the shivering isles and all that.
all an all i think if if it was the right writer it could turn out really good. and hell with the description part the writer could even describe every thing as it is in the 1st PGE. so cyrodiil in the book would look like the way its described.
oh and it dosn't have to be just oblivion it could be all the games and hell they could maybe even do a book for each guild from each game. so the first book would could be the main quest then any of the expansionsand those could be like a trillogy type thing. and then they could do one for the mages, fighters, thiefs, dark brotherhood. and the guild questline books could be a different character for each guild that way well at least to me i would make a little bit more since and they could actually be given a name.
and maybe they could have them interconect with the main books. not directly but say maybe it would be mintioned some were in each guild book.
what do you guys think?
