Lets face it Bethesda hasn't exactly been shouting from the roof tops about a new TES and from what I've seen they haven't even announced that they've started work on it. If it does come out I can't see it being before the end of 2012 or even sometime in 2013, people thinking end of 2011 early 2012 are dreaming but that's just my opinion.

Yes. Bethesda has said they're not finished with the series. There will be another game eventually.

Fallout 3 stopped Bethesda from working on TESV for about two years. A lot of people don't like that fact, but I love FO3 so I'm fine with it. But because of that extra wait time people think they're done with TES now. They started working on a new game when Fallout 3 came out, and it's probably TESV. I know it's hard to ask ES fans to be more patient than they already have been, but we just have to wait.

I actually think there will be a TES V but it won't be out anytime soon. It's still not for certain, anything can happen in the gaming world. I just don't want to see people heart broken, it makes me sad to think of all those shattered dreams

I hate the not any time soon part. I'm getting old here.

It seems as if the time difference between Oblivion and TES V will be as great as the time difference between Daggerfall and Morrowind, if not greater. Hopefully, this game will be great.

I've said it before and will say it again: As long as the series continues to make Zenimax money then they will allow Bethesda to continue making them. If or when the series becomes unprofitable, then it will stop being made. Judging by the sales of TES4 that won't be anytime soon.

Considering how much money that made from Oblivion I'm sure they'll eventually make another.
