Does any one know what happend before the nukes hit? what caused the war and all that, I think that they need to make a new fall out from a Vault-tech engineer's point of view, and in that game show the events leading up to the big war.

I second the proposal of making a fallout game/mod from the POV of a Vault-tech worker

I have no interest in playing a fallout that takes place before the war. I never bought Operation Anchorage for that reason. Part of the allure of the fallout universe is the mystery of what took place to get us where it is in the present.
I'd rather play a game that took place in a universe where a Nuke War happened today with our tech and science, etc. But of course that wouldn't be a fallout game either.

I mean a game that takes place right on the edge of the war just before the nukes hit what people did (besides running to vaults haha) and see what happend such as how bad was the radiation ect ect. Theres alot of mysterious things about the game i often wonder what happend, what caused the war and that sort of thing, and you never see any "special vaults" reserved for valt tech workers, you would think there would be some kind of place where valt tech still exist I mean they created the vaults you would think they would have a special "place" for them selfs where they continue to work and such.

The Wikia explains alot, and I do believe there are special vaults, at least they are rumored. The timeline on the Wikia will explain alot about what happened from the 1950s up to past Fallout 3 time.
