I understand what the Hoonding is. I'm just wondering whether it's an Aedra, an Et'Ada, maybe even a Daedra? It's incredibly powerful. Why don't any of the other pantheons even recognize it? This is what puzzles me.

Best to say it's in the misc. category, as it is a cultural god. In terms of using "aedra" and "daedra" in the sense of "Ancestor" and "not ancestor", I'd call it "aedra."

But whether it gave itself up to make up the world, I have no idea. And if we're going with that definition of aedra, Talos wouldn't be an aedra either, and thus a misc.

Talos mantled an Aedra, so he counts.

Hoonding? Almond Ding. Elder Scroll Dragon Roll. With Wasabi. My moon sugar tastes like poppies.

That's the sort of answer I can respect.

Talos made his own way. The walking ways are many, oft conflicting, yet ne'er a paradox unresolvable is to be found.
