Tamriel's worst possible residents

Post » Tue Dec 15, 2009 11:33 pm

You know what, I take that back what I said about me being not a afraid. My character just leveled up to 14. I was starting to think I was getting bored of this game, and everything was too easy, when I realized I had for some reason some time ago moved the difficulty slider down about 5 or 10 notches. No idea why I did that.

Notched back up to about the middle of the scale, suddenly keeping my character alive with Dead is Dead seems a whole lot more, er, frightening.

I'm gonna go with Clannfear, they seem to be very tough, and travel in packs, even though they look kinda out've place.

None of them terrify me.

There are some that I'd really prefer not to see, since they are difficult and time consuming to deal with.

In particular: Goblin Shaman and Liches (in particular high level liches added by the MMM mod, like Deep Liches or Lich Kings).

This.

I hate when I'm in the middle of the woods and I'm sneaking up on something and right behind me there's a "land Dreugh" or however it's spelled comes up attacks me and gives away my position. Plus they are creepy. So I probbally hate these the most

They don't terrify me, they just annoy me:

Minotaurs - I don't know why, they're not particularly tough enemies, but they deeply annoy me.

Wraiths - I hate how they're hard to kill and the screeching sound they make. Ugh.

Spider Daedra - The most annoying enemy in the game. They're fast, always seem to dodge my spells or arrows and their spiderlings are nasty things.

When I play the intro of oblivion even though I know every inch of the prison, I allways leap out of my skin as one rat pounces from behind with a squek. ( I need to equip a torch I think ).

But critters Slaughterfish ( rumare broodmothers in particular ).

Undead without conjuration spells most of them, but I would go for wraiths.

Deadra I love them but clanfears for the sake the are true preadatory hunter killers.

A player character with an immensely powerful Frenzy spell and too much time on his hands. Tamriel has never seen a greater crisis.

but, seriously, I hate Will-o-wisps. Just the fact that they drain your stats is really annoying.

Wraiths (and the Flesh atronachs from SI) are pretty creepy, when you just hear them breathing and screaming.

Slaughterfish, especially giant ones, are freaky as hell. I hate fish.

Trolls. They are the only vanilla enemy that genuinely frightens me, to the point that I will run from them even if the diffculty is lowered.

Zombies. Specifically, Dread Zombies. Astral Vapors has got to be the worst disease ever. (Although encountering a ghost on a cramped little ship is pretty creepy, too.)

I like all the daedra so I voted Adoring Fan. :3

Wraiths totally freak me out. Especially if I'm on my mage and they silence me and I have no silver or daedric weapon. :(

The single scariest thing I've ever faced though (excepting things that have just jumped out at me and surprised me) was an invisible mountain lion at Ft. Caractacus. Mountain lions are tough enough as is, and an invisible one is just pretty much guaranteed death.

When I did that quest, an invisible bear jumped out at me. I ran.

Wolves-You would run across one every 10 minutes while traveling. Was a humongous pain to get off my horse every time or if I ran I would hear the annoying battle music play on and on.

Ghost-Most of my characters where not mages so I had to constantly wait for my magika to recharge.

Scamps-Do to the dumb leveling enemies aspect of the game this was 90% of the deadra I fought.

I hate so many of them...

- Goblins: The archetype of cruelty and stupidity mixed together. I hate them with a passion.

- Bears (curiously only the brown ones): Scared the hell out of me a couple of times with their roar and indiscriminate attacks. Seriously, can't just mutually leave alone?

- Wraiths: Tough, stat-lowering bastards. I just hate any monster/bastard touching my stats.

- Clannfears: Reflect Damage. That's enough explanation. I love to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTUQKby8PKo whenever I can for that reason.

You should reall have an otion for 'None' because none of these scare me. My archers know how to deal with all of them. Granted, Goblin Warlords and Shamans are a pain at higher levels, but nothing I cringe over.

will o the wisps. ghosts and wraiths.

Mere target practice.

Mountain Lions. The way they jump up and down makes it hard to hit them with missiles/magic as they approach. Then they really pack a wallop when they get close.

They can't strike while moving. Wait for them to stop (right before they attack) and step back. They will miss every time. Shoot them in the face and repeat.

I think the dead violating Dunmer from Skingrad is hot though.

If you aren't dead, you're not her type. Sorry.

Hey what happened to Xivilair, Fire, Frost and Storm Atronachs?

I killed them all. :chaos: Gotta have my elemental salts and Daedra hearts.

:lmao: Well, if there was a way, I'd say you could have all the ones in my game. :D Save me the trouble. ;)
