It sure makes me mad. Vvardenfell is probably the most fascinating fantasy world I have ever experienced and they destroyed it. It makes me mad. Anyone feel the same?

No. Morrowind from the start was destined to be destroyed. The Dunmer deserved it and brought it on themselves.

Besides, why do you care? We're not going back to Morrowind in-game for a very, very long time, if ever. And if/when we do go back to Vvardenfell, its destruction and reconstruction just means we'll have a unique experience the second time there. You should be happy.

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnope. After the events of Morrowind, I was betting the proverbial crap would hit the fan over on Vvardenfell, totaling the island, what with Vehks giant spacey rock floating there with no Vehk to keep it aloft. Truth be told I was expecting to hear about something like Red year happening whilst playing Oblivion.

Speaking as someone who has played the ES games in a backward order, I found the destruction of Vvardenfell quite shocking. But as stated by the others, it makes sense when you look at the bigger picture.

Besides, would be so moved if it was anything less?
