I really don't have any hopes for Crysis 3

After the huge disappointment Crysis 2 was I never really had any high hopes for Crysis 3. When I heard there was a trailer out the first thing I thought was that it was too soon.

Crysis 2 came out a little over a year ago, I really don't think 1 and a half years development is going to be enough to make Crysis 3 good enough. Crysis 2 was in development for much longer and they still never even fixed the damn game.

It's going to end up being a Crysis 2 rehash with a few new weapons, maps and animations which is the sad truth. Crysis 2 failed, why does CryTek think making the same game again is going to do any better?

I hope you are wrong.

Personnally I think they could make some serious improvments since most in my eyes would be re-implementing elements of the original they omitted in C2.

I'm honestly glad they released the vid....now we have a chance to give some constructive feedback and with the game not coming out for a year from now (around there) they can really take what we think into consideration.

....So, I don't think they want to make the same game, at least I hope. What do you think should be different?

Given that this game will have sandbox, its going to be better than C2.

I don't have any hopes, because I don't hope especially when the game still has a year to go. Give it some time

^^ yea I agree I'm a Crysis 1 veteran and I don't see any more of those guys here. All I see is COD fans who enjoys close quarters and easy kills with no skills, who reply to post with "No Crysis 2 is better than Crysis 1...." and " Crysis 1 multiplayer svcks...." comments. I miss the veterans.

I think you are very wrong Celery. Crysis 2 is a great game especially in the multiplayer department because it allows you to use many ways like stealth and speed for example to outsmart your enemy, it gives you this amazing suit and if you master it really leads to the most satisfying multiplayer experience ever. The single player story line could use some work to make it more cohesive but by no means was it a huge disappointment, so what if it wasn't open world like the first one, they wanted to try something different by having an engaging gameplay experience so that the player felt more important. I played the first Crysis and honestly I got bored with it, when I play a shooter I want it to be intense and fast paced not Grand Theft Auto in first person, there wasn't even a lot to do, just lots of wasted space. I think you do hope it turns out good because otherwise why would you even be on here? If you have no hope for it then why waste your time?

This seems like it's going nowhere fast.
