Elderscrolls Combat

I think Bethesda really needs to pick a style of combat and stick to it I will try to elaborate what I mean.

The older TES games used dice roles to determine things like skill and the enemies ability to doge, I'm guessing this sort of style was used because it would be very hard to program character skill and enemy skill in to a realistic type combat experience (also it was the D&D way) well any way fast forward to oblivion and skyrim they have taken out the dice roles and have replaced it with user skill which would be fine if they were able program those complex enemy character movements that I discussed earlier but they haven't right now we have this very boring sit there and take it mentality to combat for both character and enemy.

Bethesda if you are going to get rid of dice roles you need to shape up and evolve you enemy AI and character movement because as I see if you stay the course you are on now you are going to over taken by more ambitious game designers who solve the problem of dice role vs player skill, right now for me anyway my interaction with this game is a joke it is far too easy and boring please Bethesda pick a side and devote yourselves to it.
