THE INTERNET IS AT MY KEYBOARD AND MOUSE! MUAHAHAHA!
Where was I? Ah yes, if I still have any readers, so be it, whichever way I'm writing this for self acomplishment now.
I feel like an explanation to this confusing story is in order; Robert had attempted suicide. He twitched and shot himself in the cheek, tearing it open. Most people would definently be in pain, but maybe not pass out. Robert passes out almost instantly due to his time in captivity, he awakes around people who are truly dying and feels weak and selfish. now our story continues....
I let my mind reach back to reality, I shook myself around. I could hear my bones cracking and twisting over the gruesome screams of the dying soldiers. I tore the bandage off my cheek. It had already healed and left a scar, a mark of humiliation. While acting oblivious to the pain everyone else had suffered I walked out of the hospital. One room. It was a pre war gym. The door felt heavy and rough as I threw my weight into it. I felt so weak.
I made my way to my own home. I was amazed at what progress had been made in the short time i was gone; scrap metal replaced by concrete and newly manufactured metal sheets. I had a look at my own home, the same as the rest. I walaked inside, the door was left unlocked. I walked to my closet. I took my armory key and my uniform. I left and walked to the armory. I put on my power armor and grabbed an assult rifle. I opened the door to the briefing room, all the men I had found with the super mutants were sitting around the 3-D map. One of them was pointing out locations and explaining attack patterns. He noticed me standing at the door, "You wait till now to get the [censored] up?! Sit down." He continued pointing out locations, he pointed to a small island, "this is most likely the largest exit point for this hive underground. I want us all to make our way to this island after we've plugged up all the smaller holes." He circled his hand around north Georgia, "Most of our colonies here have been destroyed, most likely it was the Enclave. Their increased intrest and activity here can only have something to do with the mutants. Be aware of this." I gritted my teeth, "What will we do about them?" He glared at me, "nothing, none of them have been seen around here so I believe we'll have no threat from them for some time." he pointed back at the island, "by the way, I want you, Robert? To lead a squad directly to the island. Pave the way." He walked out. He came back in with a stack of pictures, he gave each of us a small stack. I looked down at mine, it was a blury picture of shadowy figures, one in front holding half of a power armored soldier in each hand. The soldier looked like a doll in his hands. "These are the super mutants we've seen. And Robert, the picture you see is Enclave. Look at the one below it." he said as he snatched the picture from me. Hundreds of mutants, all at least ten feet were shown in the picture. "We're launching this attack in five days. You'll all recieve individual briefing delivered to you later. Steel be with you." he walked out of the room. All the soldiers were exchanging pictures, their eyes huge and full of determination, fear, willfulness.
One soldier approached me, he was smaller than the rest and looked far less fearful. "What was in the picture sir?" he looked eager. "Shadowed figures, all of them in highly advanced power armor. One in front was holding a dead paladin, ripped in half. The guy was huge." I was afraid myself. "Sir, I understand you're selecting your squad for your mission, I want to volunteer for it. I'vee already found someone to plug up he holes I've been assigned. My name's Bradley by the way, sir." I looked him over, he looked roguh, strong, but small. "cut the sir crap. You look capable. we'll go find our other squadmates."
