So decided to start playing oblivion again now that i have a computer that can play at max settings (Core 2 @3.6, 4GB RAM, Radeon 5770, SSD, etc). And I used mods before, and it worked fine. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit So I have installed...

-Oscuros Oblivion overhaul (Full thing, latest verion)
-Qarls Texture Pack
-LoD Texture Pack
-Portable Campsite
-Elves of Lineage
-Bartholm (Town add on)

And it starts and runs fine. Looks great! Except for one MAJOR, MAJOR, MAJOR problem. My character is ALWAYS spinning to the right. I can balance it out with the mouse, going to the left, but it always does it. It is completely unplayable like this. I've turned all the mod ESPs off, and it still does it. I'm at wits end, I cannot figure out how to fix it! I've reinstalled oblivion, and it still does it... Anyone have any ideas what is wrong? It doesn't do it in menues, only when unpaused where you actually play. I'm so frustrated right now it is ridiculous. This leaves me to believe it is either an inherent oblivion problem with my system, or it's one of the texture packs... Anyone have experience with this, or any idea what's wrong?

Oh this is wonderful. I just did a fresh install. It does this after just installing oblivion. No mods, no expansion... Just oblivion. Wth?

Do you have a joystick/gamepad connected? If so, disconnect it.


Also, open up your .ini file. You can find it in your My Documents\My games\Oblivion folder...it is the configuration settings file named Oblivion. Open it with Notepad and do a CTRL+F to search for this line:

bUse Joystick=1

Set the 1 to 0 and save the file. Hopefully, these will help.
