eRepublik is a Massive Online Social Strategy Game which takes place in an earthlike world known as The New World. The New World looks exactly like the ordinary earth except that there lives "only" 400 000 people there instead for our massive IRL population of 600 000 000 humans on our earth! That, ofcourse, doesnt have to be a bad thing!
Well, back to track! In eRepublik you begin as a nobody, a baby you could say, but with some determination that can easily be changed! You can, with some patience, determination and luck, become a famous politican in your country and even run for presidency! Are you a little bitter over those high VAT-taxes which the oppositon party put in recently? Then start to argue against them! Find proof of VAT-taxes being counterproductive! Or perhaps you think your country has joined the wrong side in the war? Then start to argue for making peace or even backstabbing your allies (if they are so bad then who is to argue that you want to backstab them?)! Are you angry about all those damn taxes that are hindering your company from being the biggest company in the country? Then argue for removing those pesky taxes!
Or perhaps you dont like how those evil capitalists earn money with their whips while you are working your ass of trying to make arms for the war effort? Then start a cooperative with your working buddies and remove the evil capitalism poison from your country! :flamethrower:
And that was just a small taste of what you can do in the politic area of the game!
You can also become famous by being the richest player in the whole eWorld! And how do you think you are going to become that? By using the monetary market ofcourse! Or you could buy shares when they are cheap and sell them when they are dear! And eventually you will be able to own a whole empire with companies, business, workers and MONEY!
You could also become famous by writing articles about the war, who is winning where and by writing guides to people who have just began playing the game!
There is so much you can do in eRepublik that it would take all the 200 posts in this topic to describe it! :dead:
Even with all those fantastic features there is one thing which beats it all, the citizens, the humans, the buddies! And the not-so buddy people too! You WILL become addicted to this as soon as you get into the game! :thumbsup:

Currently it is Version 1 in eRepublik, before that it was the beta, and V2 seems to be approaching now! All the coming features have been introduced, one after another and it seems to become a really good V2 from what I have seen! :celebrate:
In The New World there are two super-alliances, EDEN (Erepublik Defence and Economy Network) and Phoenix.
EDEN consists of Australia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Croatia, Finland, Greece, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden (Yay!) and Switzerland.
Phoenix consists of Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey and Junior... I mean UK.
Other countries are also in the war even though they are not officially in the alliances, for example USA is fighting against Phoenix together with EDEN.
