Big Poll of Manythings.

Mature themes? I'm not even sure why that would be something to be brought up. You see, if you add mature themes just because you want to add mature themes to make it more "edgy," then you've ruined the whole thing. You write the story that is there to write. If "mature themes" is a part of that, then that's the story you have to tell. If the story to be told doesn't include mature themes, then they should be left out. Adding anything for the sake of adding it makes it artificial, and detracts from what you're doing. I sure don't want to have every ten minutes of gameplay interrupted with random images of bikini-clad women writhing about in a pit of oil. That may be an interesting image, but it most likely won't fit into Skyrim's gameplay. So what I want is for Bethesda to come up with a good story, and tell it. I'll come along for the ride. As long as I have a good sandbox to play in, I'm happy.

How can someone possibly vote they want the same amount of mature themes that oblivion had? It had none.
My final answer:

No

V.A.T.S - Do not want.

Dice Roll - Want (implemented well)

Mutliplayer - Do not want.

Maturity - More than Oblivion, more like Fallout 3.

Just no to-hit dice roll.

Main Quest - Can't it be both mysterious and epic?

V.A.T.S. Like system? No. It was okay in Fallout 3 but it wouldn't really fit TES IMO.

Dice roll? When someone mentions Dice roll the terrible combat system from Morrowind always comes to mind, which is why i voted no. In truth i am not totally against the idea so long as it is done right and incorporate some of the players skills aswell.

Multiplayer? Absolutely not.

Mature Themes Yes that would be nice. But ofcause it would never happen, Bethesda don't have the guts.

Maint Quest What!? Can't we have both?

I can't vote because the last option is pretty stupid. OOO EPIC MAIN QUEST! Do you mean entirely cliche and boring?

As for the other options, I'd vote favourably for dice rolls in combat.

OK, people. ATTENTION!
I want to clear something up, even CoD has dice-rolls! What the hell is wrong here?

-No [censored]in' VATS, it'll destroy the series.
-Multiplayer, it would be awesome to travel around Skyrim with my friends, quest together, level-up together, go to dungeons together. That would be really awesome.
-Main Quest, epic, a quest you will be remembering everytime you talk about your favorite games.

VATS: Nothing to do with TES, so a big resounding no.

Dice Rolls: No, real time with heavy influence of stats and skills in how combat works.

Multiplayer: Not interested. Just not my thing.

Mature Themes: As long as they are developed in a coherent way, sure.

Main Quest: Mysterious all the way. A MQ that builds up as the pc proves his/her worth would be best, with lost of intrigue and a bunch of all that great nord lore as a backdrop.

I voted for mature themes, as in story or content. This was not a vote for more blood or gore, which I do not want. I don't consider blood and guts flying everywhere to be mature in the least.

VATS: Do not want. VATS was never any good for melee combat in any case.
Dice Roll: A thousand times do not want.
Multiplayer: Meh.
Mature Themes: Oh, hell no. Nine times out of ten, "mature themes" come across as juvenile adolescent wish-fulfillment.
Main Quest: I'll say "mysterious." Be nice to have a change of pace.

Do Not Want, Do Not Want, Do Not Allow. Same or More(don't really care), Epic and Mysterious.
By "mature" do you mean sixual? Because that can also mean blood and gore, language, etc.

Id like to see a v.a.t.s like system for bows/ranged attacks.
Not nesseserly just like FO vats but maybe slowmotion and some zoom options. so it would be easyer to aim at enemies.

I dont think any1 understands when people ask about vats they are not talking vats as in fallout they are talking a completed different thing, but is representative of vats in its own fashion built just for oblivion type play, and it would most likely be available for only people using an archer/spearman/crossbowman/mage types where something is either thrown or shot, so stop freaking like your version of TES is the only idea worth having, you guys clam up tight like a fundamentalist virgin at her first prom worried that dancing is too much like six to even try it, I been playing the TES games since they first arrived on the scene more the 15 yrs ago and I say if they wanna try it, why not ? I am definitely not obliged to use it if I dont like it, so who gives a f*8#k, chill out and dont cramp Bethesda's creative juices. IMO
