BladeSong

Beta Testing Team

BladeSong is needing a team of beta testers to move the mod from beta stage to final completion and release.

For your viewing, here is the link to the main site : - Please do note that the download links are currently disabled, as they will remain so until final release.

http://bladesong.homestead.com/

It is recommended that potential applicants review the description of BladeSong on the site to decide if it is something that may suit them or not.

What is needed :

A few testers that have lower end system specs.

A few testers that have moderate to high system specs.

Of these testers, most of which have many mods running active.

It would be desirable to find at least one person that is running a mod that uses Screen Effects to test potential conflicts.

What will be provided in return :

There will be a new area added in the credits listing on the main site, and in ReadMe's included in the mod downloads.. This new area will be listed as the 'Beta Testing Team'.. and hence will reveal all that came aboard and took part in the Beta testing process.

What is required for applicants :

Each Beta testing applicant needs to personal message me with an email address that I can use to both transfer the files for BladeSong as well as use for correspondence during the testing.

Each applicant is willing to go back through potentially the entire mod sequence a few times as things are updated due to bugs, to confirm everything is in good order.

BladeSong needs your feedback, apart from bugs as well. If something seems off, even though it's not a bug, please mention it.. If things seem exceptional to you in various areas, please make mention of it. It all makes a difference in getting a feel for how the mod is turning out before final release.

Required Mods :

Here is the list of requirements and mods required to play BladeSong :

Oblivion updated to the latest official patch.

Screen Effects Mod : http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16323

OBSE Version 0017a or greater : http://obse.silverlock.org/

UFF & RM Morrigan Armor : http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19288
IMPORTANT!! You do NOT need to have the body replacers used by this armor mod for it to work in BladeSong. Only need to have it installed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any Pm's sent me will be responded to as quickly as possible, and I will get the mod to you for testing provided all seems well.

Your help is truly needed here, BladeSong has been in the works for over a year now, and needs good Beta testers to finish the job, and get this thing out proper to the public.. Credit will be given proper for your efforts.

I certainly appreciate every applicant.

Sincerely

Sornan

I thank you for the link :)

Had no idea there was even such an area on Alliance :tops:

And also thank you to Malonn and AliTheLord for joining into the project :)

Honestly one or two more and well be all good here either way. Didn't expect such fast responses and I am extremely grateful!

Great stuff going on here..

Thanks again.

A short description of the story line would be nice.
Your website reads like an advertisemant. (I'm not complaining, its just my observation.)
I feel most people would like to know something about what your mod is.

My two cents...

Thanks for the input :)

The mod's primary description is basic, to the point, and does not spoil the content that awaits the player in game.

This is a 100% quest mod, with alot of new 'stuff' added in along with this. Describing much beyond what is already there on the site is simply a great way of spoiling the content that awaits the player. I could write 10 pages and describe everything, and spoil everything, but all of this transpires slowly, and in real time, in game, for the player to discover along the way.

Again, everything evolves in real time in game with this quest mod, including the story line. From the first time your feet hit the ground with BladeSong active, and knowing nothing about what's going on, is the perfect place to start.. everything will happen in real time. Nothing is 'made up' in advance that one needs know about before activation :) It is actually a major aspect of this mod, now that I think on it.

That's what people want to read about.
You should edit your OP and put the above in after the website link.
Once last bit... Is there a recommend level for the Player to be?

I do not have time to be a tester for you, but if I did, I'd jump right in.
I'll be waiting impatiently for the release. This mod will definitely go into my game.
Thanks!

Thanks again for your input.

Indeed, that is what the Beta testing phase is for. I can't even comment on difficulty yet, considering so far I'm the only person that has played the mod.

Beta testers for a big mod like this are so truly crucial. I couldn't fathom a release without them.

Hey thanks again :)
