Such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kgINa2MToA and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nCHsLIGlp4

If so, which songs do you like?

I was already a big fan of Danny Kaye so it was cool to hear Civilization on GNR (bongo, bongo, bongo I don't want to leave the Congo). I also enjoy the intended juxtaposition of a post-apocalyptic setting and such cheery music.

But in general the music of the 30s, 40s, and 50s doesn't do much for me.

Nah, never gave 50's music much attention, I'm more into the 60's and 70's. Although a lot of popular music from the 60's was influenced by 50's music, the 60's and 70's were really a unique and beautiful time in music industry in my opinion.

I hated it until Fallout, and I now have a soft spot for it :)

Before Fallout, I can't say I really had much contact with it, aside from the occasional song one might hear in places, although my parents' musical tastes did allow me to experience some music from before my time, most of what they listen to seems to be a little later than what Fallout uses. However, playing Fallout has allowed me to like such music as well, though I confess my contact with it is still quite limited.

Yup, I enjoy the big band and jazz better than the pop music, although this sort of thing wasn't really 50's

I thought the 50's style was a good idea.

Don't you people mean 30's-40's? Big difference between 30's-40's and 50's.

Yes, F3 music isn't really '50s at all; it's '30s and '40s. Some '50s rock n roll would have been nice. A few Elvis tunes should have been included. After all you can find "Velvet Elvis" paintings in Fallout 1 and 2. I was very disappointed not to find a Velvet Elvis at the alien crash site in Fallout 3. Speaking of that, it would have been great to discover a cult in F3 that worships a Velvet Elvis.. :)

My brother has some of the music on his ipod. In fact my grandma (RIP) used to sing that civilization song to me when I was little. Always loved it. When I heard it in Fallout 3 I almost crapped my pants, as I knew that song.

My favorite song is "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire!" I think that makes the game!
