I haven't played for a while, so I decided too make a new char, I dont know which class or race, any ideas?

I play as a Nord Crusader called Hrol. The Crusader is a warrior-mage that is more warrior. It is described as a "heavily armored warrior with spellcasting abilities and a good cause " in the in-game description. It is a pre-made class.

I used to play as a female Dunmer Sorceress of House Telvanni. I modded the game however to give Dunmer more magicka, as I never used melee.

I enjoy playing Mages most, so perhaps you could try something similar?

Mixed combat and magic is generally a strong build; you can always throw in some stealth skills if you think you need them.

I tend to prefer playing a magic and stealth combo, like a Nightblade. Immense fun, and great flexibility if you build the class right, definitely worth a try in my opinion.
As for race, pick whichever you like the look of most.

I enjoy being a Nord barbarian who uses only fur armors and nordic equipment. It's a fun challenge for more experienced players.

I voted other. The best class is the one that`s as good of an archer/mage/warrior/thief/etc as any other pure build. This way you can do almost every single quest in one playthrough.
