Choke and Throw in Multiplayer

Can this be done Crytek? Nothing would say I pwned an enemy more than incorporating a new close quarters melee just the same as in story mode. The grab choke, carry (be it for a limited time because it is multiplayer) and either toss them flying in the air or slit there throats!

Realistically I don't see this working nanosuit on nanosuit.

But if you have strengthmode and they don't, make you can make some kind of badass punch that will send them semi-flying. Like in Crysis 1.

No. Stealth melee should be weak, unless its a stealth kill.

Front side ARMOR melee maybe. Well actually, not just front. Every side.

Armour? How about the mode which actually makes you stronger.

It's probably technically quite possible, though I imagine synching and control transfer across the net with an action like that might cause some pretty weird issues but I think the biggest implication is while it's cool for the player who is choking, it's kind of lame for the player who is being choked.

How do you get out of the choke? You're quickly detached from the game and it loses its immersion if you all of a sudden have no control over your player. "Why is his nanosuit more powerful than my nanosuit and why can't I kick him in the face while he's choking me?" would be a question that comes of it as well. It emasculates the person being choked and that's something we wish to avoid, we want players to always feel like their suit is built like a howitzer.

I definitely see what you're saying Cry-Adam. It makes one persons nanosuit ability appear inherently stronger than another's and that's not good balance. I definitely wouldn't like to not have any control of my player while being choked. I'm just brainstorming over here.
