I noticed there are some ridiculously expensive guns in NV. Are they like super frickin leet? They better be for $30,000. Any opinions on this and do you have any of these pricey guns?

Yes, like in the Original Fallouts the more things cost the better they are. It is a way to keep the best weapons out of the hands of low level players. To prevent breaking the game.

I remember paying 1000 caps for a Radaway in Fallout 2. Things are supposed to cost alot in the Wasteland. The rarer it is the more it costs that simple.

I semi agree with Styles, but how good the weapons are is largely subjective. In either case New Vegas was in need of some money sinks, if you scavenge enough and are smart enough with your finances you'll eventually have more caps then you'll know what to do with.
