crossbow ? yeah, that'll work great against an AR w/100 round drum
:rofl:
Since there's going to be 24 guns and I don't know what most of them are I can't say. As for people who want real weapons, I think every shooting game ever always gets a mod to add those. Each weapon also has 8 statistics where some are linked to each other as obvious trade-offs. The one I don't understand is range. Range that it still has that amount of accuracy? Or actual range of the projectile? STALKER unmodded is a game that comes to mind where weapon "range" was done wrong. Take a couple steps forward and suddenly your pistol can hit them now.
Along with all the possible mods on those 24 guns different balances will be represented. It will take time and trials to really find out if there is a missing category or under represented combination. I'm going to favor the assault rifles since I'm not sure how the low damage of SMGs will do in a game like this. Otherwise I'll take any mod that increases SMG damage or AR rate of fire.
1.Say that to US spec Ops members, people still use crossbows because they are silent, deadly, and can be loaded with better explosives than bullets due to their size and low heat during fire; and they are hella fun to use if youve ever shot one. B)
2. Range is how far the bullet will go before it stops doing damage, this could be an abrupt stop like
10m-20m = 20 damage then 30-40m = 10 damage
or it could be an equation where the damage is slowly lower over distance until it simply does not produce any damage.
1m=20, 2m=18, 3m=16, etc. until 11m = 0
Accuracy on the other hand has nothing to do with how far a bullet will go but how straight it will fire out of your gun.
To break it down range is distance and accuracy is aim.
