Joshua though determined figured it was best to make a hasty retreat. He would need to medidate long and hard on how best to approach this foe. Quickly slinging a dyeing comrade over his shoulders he made towards the exit

ooc: Gonna be a short, crap post. On vacation this week and haven't been inside as much as usual.

------------------

Ghostgate

Danar and his companions were finally in sight of the Ghostgate. As they began their descent down the final long stretch of downhill terrain, its form appeared before them. A few armed Buoyant Armigers were heading up towards their position to meet them. "Sir Danar, depressing news from Ald'Ruhn I'm afraid." The young Dunmer captain in Chitin armor saluted his superior officer. "What news, soldier?" asked Danar in a concerned voice as the group continued walking downhill together, now with Chitin armored escorts wielding steel crossbows walking deliberately at their sides, scanning the horizon in either direction.

"Necromancy, sire. A Necromancer Adept was controlling the ants there. Redoran forces suffered a sound defeat and retreated. We received news via a Mage, who teleported in while you were away."

Danar frumpled his brow. "I'll need to talk with the Grandmaster. The rest of you may feel welcome to rest and relax inside. We have lodging available for free, since you're all helping me. Please make use of all our facilities. We have a bar which doubles as a restaurant, as well as training rooms and a Temple if any of you follow the Dunmer ways. Now if you'll excuse me."

He strode upstairs quickly to meet with the head of the Buoyant Armigers, leaving his friends to mingle in his absence for the first time.

Dar-ahet with no desire to mingle with the others merely headed off in a direction and disapeared from view, leaving Vanessa with Abel
"so..." said Vanessa to her only slightly sane companion "uh....care for a Mazte?"

Abel angrily jabbed Vanessa in the arm. "You a-drink it first, m'lady. A true Lord would never dare ta drink 'nothing 'til he's sure the thing aint' poison." Abel stood tall and turned his head away haughtily, waiting for Vanessa to show him that the mazte contained nothing harmful.

Vanessa raised her hands "ok ok, I'll take one first."
Paying for her drink the poped the top off and took a swig.

ooc: I'm canceling this RP. I do want to thank everyone who participated or showed interest.

The reason is that I am unhappy with the slow progression of the main plot..I should have skipped the ants part of the story and gotten straight to the fast paced part. I will be rebooting the storyline farther along, in Cyrodill. I will contact each and every one of you with details in a day or two.
