why oh why does this happen to the good people of the capital wasteland? Im stuck outside the rivet city stairwell maybe three or four city security floating around but i make one move and it freezes. I know this happens to many people but understand my pain. i'm level 28 and I've yet to use the "Here and Now!" perk, i need to kill maybe 4 or five people to level up, take the perk, and reach level 30... and get the messiah achievement making 72 of 72 complete. but the powers that be and those aliens from mothership zeta i'm doomed to this load freeze repeat cycle. if anyone knows of some magic potion to fix my problems i would appreciate it. thanks

your question is fantastically worded, but i have no answers. i am however having a problem like this. Operation anchorage just before you blow up the guns(i assume, i havent gotten this far obviously) you have to go through a corridor and as soon as i get to a certain point in the corridor it freezes. new vegas, which i just bought brand new does it with some doors.
