Can anyone please tell me if there is a reason behind the Jefferson Memorial Game Freeze which essentially ends the game (such as something I did or didn't do in the game). The reason I ask is that (against all rational thinking) I intend to start a new game and obviously don't want the same thing too happen. Is there anything documented or proven to avoid this from happening again. Like many other people I tried about ten different things to try and stop the freeze but nothing got me past that loading screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And FYI for anyone who may think that the game disc is the cause don't go and buy another copy of the same game. I own an independent video game store in western massachusetts, I have about 7 copies of this game and I tried each and everyone in the hopes it would load past the save point but no luck.

Ok this has happened to me as well. Except i was in the County Sewer mainline. just load another save if it happens. it worked for me and hasnt happened again
