Eli looks to beatem up for me honestly, Denzel Washington as an action hero, ohhh the mighty have fallen.

Looks good for my Fallout TV show script though gotta submit it to Betheseda for approval though.

Yeah I am not sure how good it will be since Mila Kunis is acting in it and mr Washington is the lead... then again it could be great!

'The Road' is NOTHING like fallout in any way other than it is post-apocaliptic and there are 'raiders'. I like the book a great deal but can't see how a movie version will work (Although top marks for casting Vigo). It is essentially narrative based about a father's devotion to his son. The nature of the end of the word is hardly mentioned nor is it important, neither is his wife, both of which seem to feature prominantly in the movie trailer. I have a dreadful feeling they are going to make an eco-friendly version of Mad Max. Might turn out to be a good movie but it won't be 'The Road'.

The Road sounds promising.

I saw a thing on HBO on Book of Eli. I wasn't impressed.

The Road movie will be more about the trials and tribulations a father and son go through as they navigate the horrors that happened after the "Greatest War"

The movie based on the book stars don johnson, he plays an 18 year old. Haven't watched it yet, but just put it on netflix watch it now. So I'm about to watch it. The book has in it, what sounds like ghouls also. It's on the wiki page.

No mention of a war anywhere in the book. It's all conjecture.

Well not every PA setting means its Fallout-ish.

The Book of Eli MIGHT be interesting if it's not all out fighting.

The Road looks good tho.

For those of you who haven't seen A Boy and his Dog, it inspired some of the stuff in the Fallout universe. It's also a pretty good movie.

Just watched it today. I giggled in the first 5 mins. of the film when the boy (Vic) referred to his dog (Blood) as "Dogmeat".

Pandorum for its themes. Isolation, boogeymen, bored/ insane authority figures playing God, diminishing hopes of survival.

I watched it after the fallout site mentioned it. from Dogmeat (a nickname used once in the beginning for the dog) to the messed up vault part, it was straight Fallout 3. can't forget the unseen glowing ghoul monsters that terrify everyone.

book of Eli has been out for a little while as of this post. I watched it. It had some Fallout impressions on me. Just enough for me to really enjoy it. It wasn't a bad movie all around either.

I did a little more digging and found some vintage 1950's films that probably were great influences on the look and feel of the Fallout Series.

World Without End (1956) It's got mutants, vault dwelling "pure" humans and heroic manly outsiders to save the day.

Wikipedia has a great list of other cheezy scifi movies to help inspire y'all out in the wasteland.

Keep your friends close but your plasma rifle closer.

See ya out in the Wasteland.

"The Postman" would be the closest movie to fallout.
Although no supermutants.....
