2277- Stories of a Vault Dweller

Ok guys so ive been working on this story for awhile..i never intended of putting it on here but one of my friends told me i should so tell me what you guys think. It kinda of follows the plot of the game but in a sense it doesnt, there are some things in the game i took of my a story and some things that are not in the game that i put in the story.

When the Bombs fell 200 years ago I was not yet in this world. But I kind of wish I was because living in a war torn Nuclear Wastelan is horrible. There are dangers around evry corner. You either in a super mutant or a mutated animal. Sometimes if your just out wandering the wasteland looking for food or some supplies you may run into a Raider or Slaver wanting you cut you open and hang you from one of thier many bases strewn about the Capital Wasteland. Other times if your really unlucky you may run into a Enclave or Talon Company Merc. These guy will show no mercy and shoot you on site.

I didnt alwasy live in the Wasteland. I was actually born in Vault 101. After my parents died i decided to go rouge and rumage through the overseers office. Reluctantly i found his password to his terminal. I found out a sercret about Vault 101 and decided to get the hell out. I found out that Vault 101 was never supposed to re-open like most of the Vaults. Vault 101 for 200 years got false reports from some source that the America was still in fallout and was not safe to return to the surface. I dont know how they kept this lie going but i didnt want to be stuck in this Vault forever so i snuck out through the overseers tunnel and sealed the vault door behind me.

Vault 101 wasnt the only Vault that had dark secrets. Vault 112 had all the residents go into a simulator and thing they lived in a perfect world. Vault 92 was created for Scientists and musicians. Sadly when i got there all i foudn were Mirelurks and bloatflys roaming the halls. Trying the rip my face off as i went through the Vault taking anything i could carry. Vault 106 has been a mystery for awhile. There are no records from this Vault and no one knows what happened in it over the past 200 years. Vault 87 holds the most deepest and darkest secret! For almost 200 years this vault has turned people into Super mutants with the FEV Virus. As the records show Vault 87 was also the only Vault in the Capitol Wasteland to be issued a G.E.C.K.

A couple weeks ago i went to search for the G.E.C.K. and i actually found it. But then the Enclave found out and met me half way out of the vault, led by the infamous Colonel Autmn who promptly knocked me out stole the G.E.C.K. and then dragged me off the Raven Rock and held me agianst my will. President John Henry Eden let me free because i agreed, well rather lied, to put the FEV virus into the purifier at the Jefferson Memorial.

My task was to restart the Purifier at the Jefferson Memorial but when i got the i was met by Colonel Autmn and a few other Enclave soldiers. I took them out and proceeded to turn the Purifier on. Before i could tell Sentinel Lyons i forgot the password she had shut the door and we i collapsed on the floor from the Radiation. I woke up two weeks later dazed and hated by the Brother Hood of Steel for my incompetence.

I feel so lost. It wasnt really my fault that i forgot the password. I had so many things on my mind. I just want the Capital Wasteland to go back to normal. The Purifier could've helped but there is now reversing what happened. The G.E.C.K. could've helped as well but with that gone there is nothing more we can do.

Tonight im going to go back to the citadel to see if the BOS can forgive me for what i have caused. Right now the BOS are mad at me for not starting the purifier and almost killing Sentinel Lyons. Hopefully when i get to the Citadel the BOS will give me and assignment that can but me back into thier good graces.

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this. Tell me what you guys think and keep in mind this is only a little part from the story...I have written over 100 pages worth of this story so if you guys like it i may think about putting more of it on the forums.

Okay, I stopped reading. Fix the spelling mistakes first. You didn't go a sentence without spelling something wrong, or not finishing it.

Yeah, I'd definitely run a spellcheck if I were you. Also, and this is just my opinion, Lone Wanderer stories are a dime a dozen, and most come off as low-quality versions of Fallout 3's main story.

Its a story with potential, if we could just fix the grammar. I liked it.

You mention the Lone Wanderer being born in Vault 101.. You weren't really born there.. If you look at the beginning, one of the first people you see is Doctor Li, meaning you were most likely born in Rivet City. You were tooken into the Vault by your dad.
