If you want, I'll give you the male Dunmer soap salesman who owns the baths in Maar Gan.

That's fine with me.

I'm thinking about giving Danae the Herbalist in Suran.

Hehe, thanks :) that works for me!

Today, I will be working on these Issues:

First, I will be rebalancing the effects of the soaps and baths.
Some of them just aren't as good as others, and some seem too good.

For example, the Hlaalu baths fortify your fatigue by 10 points.
However, the Telvanni baths fortify your magicka by 0.5 x intelligence, like the Mage birthsign.

Let's say your character has 120 each of health, magicka, and fatigue, with an intelligence of 60.
If he takes a bath in Suran, his fatigue will go up to 130, but if he takes a bath in Sadrith Mora, his magicka goes up to 150.
It gets worse... After he has gained a few levels, and now has an intelligence value of 70.
Since the Hlaalu fatigue bonus is static, he still only gains 10 points in fatigue, but since the Telvanni magicka bonus is a multiplier,
he now gains 35 points in magicka. The Hlaalu bonus is small and static, but the Telvanni bonus will actually grow as you gain levels.
Even worse, if you use the "Star Ice" scented soap, you'll get another 0.5 x int. magicka bonus on top of that!

Some of the other effects are almost as broken, but some of the effects just don't do much at all...
I might tone down some of the better effects, or improve the weaker ones... Maybe I should do both.

Second, I need to finish naming all the leftover NPCs. I'll be filling in the blanks using the Tamriel Rebuilt Name Generator.

Lastly, I'll be applying the changes from the addon patch, to make particular soaps more readily available. I might increase their price a little, as well.
After that, the main mod is finished.

Afterward, I'll follow through with the addons.
I will be improving upon the compatibility patch for Balmora Expanded, as requested by Horny_Buddha.
I have also been thinking about using Korana's bathrobes, as an addon for users of "Better Bodies".

Also, I intend to make a plugin containing only the objects used in this mod, as a resource,
so that those who want to can add the objects to their mods, to make them compatible with this mod.

This will allow other modders to easily make their mods work with this mod, such as making bathrooms for their house mods,
or public baths for their town mods. (Similar to Necessities of Morrowind's resource plugin.)

I will also include the scripts from this mod in a text file, alongside the resource plugin.
As you can see, I will be going all the way with this! ;)

This mod is based of a bugfix I originally made for my own use, about two years ago.
I made it when I was still learning how to mod for Morrowind.

I mostly taught myself how to make mods be reverse-engineering other people's mods
for my own personal use, but I never released any of them.

You see, often I would find a mod I liked, but it would have some nagging issue, so I couldn't use it.
I had been very daunted by the CS... it had seemed so... obtuse, if you will, and rather imposing.

One day, I found a mod called "Stormrider", a sailable ship mod.
It had a variety of issues, chief among which being it's main script, which had a horrible error that caused constant CTDs.
After reading a comment on the download page about how it could be fixed, I did so, and enjoyed doing it.

From then on, I resolved to learn how to mod. I wasn't aware of any tutorials that were readily available at the time,
so I taught myself how to mod by tweaking other people's mods.

Eventually, I decided that I had learned enough to begin making my own mods completely from scratch.
I signed up with Planet Elder Scrolls, and released my first mod, "A Forgotten Heresy". Later, I joined this forum.
As they say, "The rest is history...".

The bathing mod is finished, and pending approval on PES! :)

The mod itself is done, and will soon be followed by a new Balmora Expanded patch,
among other new things.

Once it is approved, I will open a new topic for it.

My third official release! I'm so excited!
Things like this are what makes me glad to be a modder. ^_^

Edit: A last minute update.
After some testing, I realized that some of the new rebalanced effects for the soaps and baths
might cause problems with Galsiah's Character Development, so I tweaked them further.

Some of them I had set to provide small skill boosts, which unfortunately causes GCD to think
you've been training those skills, thus levelling you.
I have replaced all "fortify skill" effects, with either "fortify attribute", or one of various other spell effects.

(This mod works by assigning it's effects as abilities, which causes problems with GCD if you use a "fortify skill" effect.)
This mod is now fully compatible with GCD.

The work continues!

Now presenting... An alternative plugin for users of Balmora Expansion!
Fully tested, this version of the plugin is fully compatible with BE.
It adds it's bathing features to BE's Bath House, and it's own Balmora "Public Bath" has been removed.
(The mod still hasn't been approved on PES though, so I ask for patience during the wait... it will be available soon!)
