The Divine Crusader and Pelinal Whitestrake (A bit of RP)

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 8:00 pm

Was it not the job of the Knights of the Nine to protect the Holy Relics? By each having one piece? So would the Divine Crusader wear all the armor? or just safe keep it in the priory or give one piece to other worthy knights of the nine? Do you guys think that the NEW Divine Crusader would just use the Armor to defeat Umaril then put it away for safe keeping in the priory?

I think that since this part of the lore surrounding the Knights of the Nine is no older than the DLC, the order is what it is specifically so the player can get and use a sick new armor set.

I had my character keep the armor on the pedestal, but it there for use, and none of the knights object, so...its really personal choice...

hmmm agreed. I am basically deciding here weather or not I make a new Holy Knight type for the Lost Paladins of the Nine Divine Mods ooooooor stay as the my Bretonnian Knight the Divine Crusader and just keep the Armor on the pedestal for safe keeping. I RP heavily when it comes to my characters factions.

I always thought that the Divine Crusade, being the leader of the Knights of the Nine, is entitled to use the armor whenever a need for it arises (which since you are constantly in need of armor in the game, you could justify wearing it all the time).
Personally, I loved to keep it on the stand and only take it off when I was going to do something very hard or fight a big battle. I loved to walk into the armor room and see it on its stand with the particles flowing around it. Made it seem very holy which was awesome.

Same here when I RP with my crusader I always treat the armour like its holy, and only use it when something big comes around.

It's gathering dust as the Champion of Cyrodiil sits on the throne of madness in Oblivion.

Divine Crusader... Yeah.

I just completed this quest.

And I had the same thought as the OP.

You need to armor to defeat the bad guy.

But after that I think it really should be enshrined and protected by the KotN in their Priory.

So that's where I leave it.

Except maybe for special occasions.

My crusader wears his armor and uses his mace constantly..with his 100 light armor skill and 100 blacksmithing, and the enchantments, it's the best armor available to him.

My lore justification for this is that the armor is only given to lower knights to be guarded in the absence of a Divine Crusader, and since my Breton is currently the living embodiment of the Divine Crusader in my game, he gets to wear the armor and wield the weapons in his active campaign to root out undead, vampires and Daedra summoning sorcerors across Cyrodill.
