Materials for making unique weps and armour

Should there be random materials as quest rewards or in caves and chests? To make unique weps and armour give them powers or immunizations.

Do you mean things like Sigil Stones? I wouldn't mind seeing that sort of thing return again, so long as it fit.

Or do you mean a crafting system? If so, no thanks, (there is already a crafting thread somewhere about which gives my reasons).

If there is a crafting system, yes.

yes like sigil stones and in some cases yes like a crafting system per say that u have a steel long sword and in some case you have a fire stone or something of the sort and you mend them together to make a sword with a fire bonus or can do another attack or special damage :lightbulb:

There were ore veins in Oblivion for gold and silver. Morrowind had Glass and Ebony. Give us a mining pick, a mining skill and let us explore the deep mines in those massive mountains of Skyrim. Forging our own Weapons and Armor, decorating them with various ornaments and chasings.

I liked it on Shivering Isles. Collecting amber and whatever ever the other thing was.

But they were in Runescape and from sounds of it, everyone here hates Runescape with a passion, so we cannot do that! :stare:

I liked Runescape. And quite frankly I don't understand why anybody could hate it aside from the worse parts of that community.

But on topic, this sort of thing would be nice to see. At least give us some sort of use for clutter other than decorating homes.
