Oblivion Game Issue (Serious)

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 3:24 am

Hello,
I am having a problem with my Oblivion Game.
I posted this before but instead, i got user's "SMART" ([censored]) comments about what the problem is.
The problem is that once i get onto the screen to load or start a new game, the screen flickers and stutters. I attempt to alt + tab and it makes my whole computer start stuttering too.
Then i close the game and put computer to sleep mode and re-turn on the monitor which stops the screen from flickering.
Strange thing is.. this only happens WHEN I use OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager).
The smart comments posted by members a few months ago stated "Stupid... its because of your graphic card".
If it was why can i run it fine with the Oblivion Launcher?
Right now i have no idea what is wrong with OBMM but if anyone has ideas, please help cause i can't get my mods to work!
And uh.. another problem is that when i press "R" to put my character on 3rd person mode the camera is zoomed in to close..
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

Well this is a very weak GPU in general. (Not even a card, its a chipset on the motherboard). Running any mods? If so, what are they?

As to the camera problem, did you try to use the mouse scroll wheel to zoom out/in?

If your game works fine launching it through normal means do that, your mods still work, unless they require OBSE, which has its own launcher. The Launcher with OBMM is useless.
And use your mouse wheel to zoom otu in THid Person.

I tried OBSE, probably its that.. when i launched OBSE it did the same thing, thanks anyways.
Thanks for tip on the mouse thing, worked well!
Any other ideas?

Another problem i have is that.. some parts of the Oblivion screen are uh.. blurry.
I go into inventory tab and my character is blurry and some of the interfaces/weapon names on the bottom left side and the right of the screen are blurry, as well as in-game.

Thank you, reply please!

You have an extremely weak video card, and have added mods that demand yet more from it. Not a surprise you are having performance issues.... Try uninstalling the game, deleting the install directory, and the one in My Game, reinstall JUST the game, and try it again, see what happens.
