The Statue of Lorkhan

What is the statue of Lorkhan doing there, when you're fighting "pancake face". What is it's purpose? When I click on it, nothing happens. Or is that really Lorkhan? if so, whats he doing buried down in there, doing nothing, letting people, especially "pancake face" build a volcanic ruin, or dwemer ruin around him?

If you're talking about Dagoth Ur and Akulakhan... I don't think you paid much attention to the http://www.imperial-library.info/mwbooks/dagoth_plan.shtml. By much I mean "none", really. What gave you the idea it was a statue of Lorkhan?

Yeah, I was but ... sorry, Akulakhan... Sounds close to the same name, got confused, sorry... I never really played it to read the lore, papers, etc, but I have seen my brother play the game all the way through, so no surprise really whats gonna happen, but yeah why is it there, who is it/he, and whats it there for/do, etc. + my previous questions... ?

Is the statue of a shalk getting stabbed by Vivec representative of Lorkhan? Or does it only have 6 legs? I never bothered to take a closer look at it.

I doubt it's a representation the Vivec stabbing Shor, or w/e. It could be the story from Ala's homilies, or something I am unaware of. Most things about Vivec fly over my head, because it makes less sense than a Tzeentchian heretic babbling about things.

When the Tribunal used the tools, they reenacted the dismemberment of Shor, so the statue is an apt representation of that.

That would be a scarab, not a shalk. Hence the six legs. The scarab is Shezarr's spirit animal.

And by "spirit animal" I actually meant its an animal used to represent him. I just thought "spirit animal" would add some dry humor to the post...
