These words Shezzar did teach to the Dwarves, along with the true name of God. And thus the Dwemer created God in their own image. The Prince of Twilight grew afraid at the power of God, and sent the Three Thieves to destroy it, selfishness and vanity damning the world's chance for liberty. Thus the Doom of the Dwarves fell upon them, and the Three Thieves stole the power of god. And one of them, Vivec, saw his mistake, for he took god's wisdom. And Vivec knew the true name of God, while his sister fell into decandance and his brother fell into isolation.
Shezzar was reborn in Talos, and Vivec saw the glory of Shezzar, who taught the secrets of Numidium. Thus did Vivec give God to Talos, and Talos sacrificed his heart for the greater good, that Numidium may walk again. And Numidium saw the disorder of the world and reunited it in his name. But Talos was only partly divine at that time, and his mortal half grew angry at his soul's imprisonment, and tore himself out of Numidium. Once again selfishness is the death of God. And for three hundred years Numidium slept, until seven kings revived him, and each attempted to use Numidium for their own selfishness, but only succeeded in destroying it.
Numidium will return! On that day we must wield it for the greater good instead of for our own selfish desires, for God's bane is selfishness. And on that day we shall dance and sing and wear the New Mantle as Numidium liberates us all! Love one another and oneself! Praise Talos, the soul of God! Praise the Dwemer, the father of God! Let no one be slaves to the world, and let all men and mer and beasts achieve true freedom! Freedom from this world, freedom from all torment, freedom from existence itself! The New Mantle shall encompass all Aurbis, and we shall sing I ARE ALL WE to ourselves in paradise.
